The IPA website is a service for the IPA Membership. It is with their direction that the website evolves. From time-to-time we will introduce new ideas for the memberships approval and adopt ideas that the membership feels are desirable. This page records the changes made by myself, changes recommended by the board and most importantly, by the membership at large.

greenhouse. Purpose of this will be to showcase all known species
phalaenopsis and their varieties along with cultural, taxonomic, historical
and hybridizing information. Goal is to also include images of awarded
species phals from awards societies.

acquisition of images on acquiring images of species phalaenopsis for
inclusion in site. Posting requests to IPA online Phal Phorum and Phal

Proposal: ... by Membership
Secretary. 'Force' membership application input forms to require that
all 'required fields' be properly filled out before submitting for information
verification and hardcopy printout for mailing. Problems were
encountered by applicants printing out forms and the secretary being unable to
read the handwriting or required information being omitted.
Actions: ... The application forms now will not forward unless
filled out all required information is typed in on the screen. If any
fields are left blank the screen will prompt the user to go back and fill in
required data. On process, all inputted data is now formatted to appear
on screen for one final verification. If any corrections are necessary,
the applicant is directed to the prior input page to make the necessary
corrections. Once the applicant approves the verification screen, the
form then prompts the applicant to print out the forma and mail
(pay-by-check). If the applicant is paying by Credit Card, then the
verification screen ask for the credit card data to be filled in and upon
completion, will prompt for the applicant to print the form. No Credit
Card data is transmitted due to security precautions. All printed out
forms have the address of the Membership secretary for mailing of the printed
out application along with the enclosed check or credit card information.
