Speakers include:

• Tim Szafran - Experienced orchid grower who will share his techniques for successful orchid growing in the home environment.

• Pat Brennan - Brennan's Orchids. Pat's topic is "What your leaves are telling you."

• Russ Vernon - Russ is Vice-president of the national IPA and greenhouse manager and grower for Jim Davis (Garfield's owner). His first lecture will be on tips for successful growing in a coconut-based media. The second lecture is on hybridization and how to make a cross.

• H P Norton - Orchidview, Moncks Corner, SC. "Know - Show - Grow"
  

In addition to the orchid vendors, Sherrie Hohl a well-known Seagrove potter, will be selling her custom designed orchid pottery and humidity trays.

There will be an auction with plants donated by our speakers and other outstanding growers from our area. Any, and all, orchid donations will be appreciated. There will  be AOS judging so bring any of your orchids, not just Phals, to be judged. Please bring your own lawn chair. We will have a few metal chairs but they aren't that comfortable. There will be drawings throughout the day for gift certificates and books donated by Seagrove Orchids.

Lunch will be available to participants for a nominal fee of $7 per person but you must make reservations by May 12th. Please call Linda at 336-879-6677 or email her at orchidlinda@rtmc.net to let her know that you want lunch.
