San Marino Welcomes the 24rd IPA Phalaenopsis Symposium

Join the International Phalaenopsis Alliance in celebrating its 28th anniversary and exploring the future of the genus Phalaenopsis at the 24th annual International Phalaenopsis Symposium on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Huntington Botanical Gardens.

This Symposium will address timely topics and much more in a series of lectures. Mark your calendar now, and send your registration to attend this extraordinary weekend dedicated to the Phalaenopsis orchid.

In addition, there will be an AOS Judging.  We encourage everyone to bring your plants, Phalaenopsis and other genera.  We are also excited to announce that this year, and for the first time, we will be having an award for People's Choice and another for Best Fragrance for Phalaenopsis genera entries.  All plants entered will qualify for ribbon judging and winners will have the chance to win a fabulous prize for each category sponsored by Orchids.com.

Whether you are a novice, intermediate or advanced grower, here is why the Symposium is a must:

-  Learn the future trends in Phalaenopsis hybridizing
-  Discover how to use science to produce higher quality plants
-  See award winning growers select the “best for breeding” plants
-  Get the answers to all your Phalaenopsis culture questions from international speakers and growers
Have the opportunity to see and purchase the newest and best in Phalaenopsis breeding from top commercial vendors.
-  Attending  vendors include Norman's Orchids, Prince Orchids and OrchidSource.
